Notes

• Normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. Early check-in is available up to 1pm for $50 which is used to hire an extra cleaner to assist with servicing the property. Early check-in for before 1pm require booking the previous night at a discounted rate, if available. Contact host for details.

Twin beds can be moved together to form one bed and accommodate a second couple!

*Please note the home is a "shotgun" which means there is no hallway and you must pass through each room to get to the next. From front to back, you'll enter through the living room, walk through each bedroom, the dining room, and through a hallway with the bathroom in it and finally into the kitchen before stepping outside into your private backyard.
*The home is a duplex where the owners occupy the other side of the building. The two sides are completely separate and private.
*Street parking is not guaranteed and if you choose to utilize street parking please be sure to follow city and state laws.
*Pack-n-play/highchairs must be reserved.

Neighborhood

Most of the City Park neighborhood is the actual park, which is huge. But there is a selection of residences south of the park, along Bayou St. John and off of City Park Avenue.

The predominant architecture that you’ll find around City Park is raised basement, raised cottages and Arts & Crafts cottages.

Also in the neighborhood, you’ll find plenty of places to play or eat out. It’s an amazing community for outdoor lovers, with paddle boards, pedal boats and kayaks all available to rent right in the park. Take a jog or bike ride along one of the many paths that wind through the 1,300 acres of City Park. Visit the New Orleans Museum of Art. Take the dog over to City Bark. Or get in a game of miniature gold at City Putt. Top it off with an order of beignets and a cup of cafe au lait at Cafe du Monde!

Access

Guests will have exclusive and uninterrupted access to the entirety of the space during their stay. This includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, front porches, and backyard. Twin beds can be moved together to form one bed and accommodate a second couple!

Space

This Fabulously restored Victorian double shotgun is in a prime location just off the Carrollton Ave Streetcar line which offers direct access to the French Quarter and Downtown. Boasting a gorgeous front porch along a private backyard offering a park-like setting. Soaring 12' ceilings throughout, this 19th century architectural masterpiece offers a uniquely New Orleans Experience. The spacious and recently renovated kitchen leads out to your backyard retreat. Off-street parking!

Note that the bedrooms are "Shotgun" style and must be walked through to access the kitchen and bathroom.

Trashcans can be found outside the property by the street

We have partnered with a local Transportation company, Jazzy Limousine and Shuttle, to offer discounted transportation to/from the Airport!
*Street parking is available but cannot be guaranteed and when utilizing street parking please make sure to adhere by city and state laws.

I loved staying here. The location is prefect, so close to everything. Food, coffee, grocery stores. Anytime I had a question they would write me back immediately. The house is beautiful, able to walk to places. Nice quiet street. Nice backyard. Very clean. Felt like home. Will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!
