Aaron’s place is really excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Algiers Point is a lovely area, really safe. I would take walks in the evening when it was a little cooler and always felt safe.
The ferry is the easiest way to get to The French Quarter, but the ferry wasn’t in service for most of our stay. Didn’t cause a problem though as they do provide replacement bus services between the ferry terminals.
There were lots of thoughtful touches in the apartment, and it’s great to have DirecTV, Netflix etc on the smart tv. An Uber to the French Quarter usually worked out at around $12, as an alternative to the ferry.
When we return to New Orleans in future we will stay here again.
