Aaron’s place is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in a lovely, quaint community that provides a peaceful place to come back to after your fun in the French Quarter. The best value for your money, since we didn’t have to drive, Uber or pay for parking during our entire stay. The ferry is a pleasant walk (about 10 min) and the ferry takes less than 5 minutes to take you to the other side where you’ll find the Aquarium, French Quarter, French Market, Jackson Square and on and on. There’s so much to do. Then you just take the ferry back to peacefulness. Our favorite local breakfast spot was walking distance, One Stone Cafe. Everything was delicious and you have to try their chia pudding!
The space was clean and well appointed, with ample toiletries and things to make coffee, as well as snacks, filtered water in the fridge and ice cube trays for drinks.
Bring your own pillow, as the ones there weren’t the best. The mattress could be better, but the fluffy mattress topper helps. It’s very noisy when you get in and out of bed.
I would definitely come back here, in fact, it would be my place of choice anytime I plan to visit NOLA!
