Cute area of New Orleans off the beaten touristy path. Quiet, cute historic neighborhood in a safe part of town. The ferry was only 10 minutes away, and overall I could get to the convention center in 25 minutes with a 10 minute walk each way. The ferry drops you off right on canal street and makes for a fairly walking accessible location while still being quiet. Overall the place was eclectic and unique but still felt homey and lived in. The host was a great communicator.
