I believe this was my 5th Airbnb stay in New Orleans. It was a great experience and the best value of any of my stays. Rick was very accommodating and a great host. The check in process was simple. Rick met me and gave me some great tips on things to do both in Algiers Point and across the river in the French Quarter. The French Quarter and Central Business District are easily accessible via a short (3-5 minute) ferry ride across the Mississippi river. It’s a very pleasant ride and offers great views of the city. Rick left some snacks, mardi gras beads, and a bottle of wine…a very nice touch. The Algiers Point neighborhood is very charming, quiet, and feels very safe. The Old Point Pub is a few blocks down the street, apparently it’s the most filmed bar in the country. The apartment was very spacious and had a full kitchen. It was also tastefully decorated. This was the best value and experience I’ve had yet on Airbnb.
