My daughter and I spent 5 nights at Particular Point. The home is very clean, tastefully decorated, and exactly as described. I slept through the night, but my daughter, who is a bit of a night owl, heard occasional train whistles during the night. I really liked that we could return to peace and quiet after an evening in the French Quarter (or a late night cemetery tour!), but having to rely on Uber/Lyft was a bit of a downside due to the cost. Next time, I’d be sure to head back to Particular Point either before the ferry stops running in the evening, or I’d rent a vehicle 🙂
Aaron was a very responsive host throughout our stay. The guidebook he’s prepared for this location was invaluable – clear and concise information on the home and surrounding area, as well as expectations for being a good guest. I highly recommend Tout de Suite Cafe and Barracuda – both within walking distance, and offering delicious food and excellent service.
