Rick and his red doberman, Cash, were more than accommodating. From the great digs to the complimentary bottle of wine to the awesome suggestions on places to eat right there in the Old Algiers neighborhood. We couldn’t have expected a better experience staying outside of the city. The neighborhood surrounding the apartment is quiet and has an old southern charm to it. Exactly what we were looking for for our short getaway. The walk to the ferry that takes you directly to the heart of the city is a nice way to get a little exercise during a stay and the ferry ride itself is a cool way to start and end your day in the Quarter. Ours was great experience all around, we’d definitely consider another stay here.
