Rick was an awesome host! He gave us great recommendations on what to do it the city. We were also surprised with a welcome basket. The place was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night and even checked out some of the local spots close to the house. The ferry was less then a 10 min walk but be sure to bring exact change ($2/person each way). The ferry only took about 5 mins to get across and took us to the heart of French Quarter. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back soon!
