Rick’s place is located in the cutest little neighborhood only a short, $2 ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of the “down town” area. When I travel, I love to experience the culture of each town and appreciate more of an off the beaten path vacation. Rick’s great little apartment provided just that, a neighborhood with the cutest homes, the friendliest locals and an opportunity to see things other than just Bourbon Street. The ferry is a 10 min walk and runs throughout the day which made it very easy and affordable to get around. Rick met my boyfriend and I for an early check in and showed us the ins and outs of the home and neighborhood. He made us feel at home and his hospitality was great; he even left snacks and had coffee and a bottle of wine for us. I would absolutely recommend Ricks apartment if you are looking for a less commercialized, touristy New Orleans experience.
