The day we checked into the apartment a hurricane was

The day we checked into the apartment a hurricane was supposed to hit, so we were very worried about getting to the apartment before the storm and and complications that might happen. Aaron answered our messages as soon as possible, letting us know right when the apartment was ready and made sure we would have everything we needed in case of an emergency. The storm didn’t end up hitting us though thankfully.
The rest of our stay was just sublime. The apartment’s decor made us feel like we were transformed into a totally different area, with the red highlights and open space concept, but the jazz music playing on the record player when we entered gave made the space feel cozy and intimate.
The apartment is in a great location, close to 3 different markets, coffee shop, and only a 10 minute walk (probably less) to the ferry to the french quarter. It was the perfect little getaway. Aaron was just a great host, we would recommend the place to anyone visiting new Orleans, or just looking for a little weekend escape!
