The place is lovely and just like it was described! It was well decorated, very clean, safe (even outside security cameras), and had everything we could need – Smart TVs in every room as well for when we needed a little recovery/downtime. We chose this place because we wanted to stay a bit away from the chaos of the quarter during Halloween. Aaron is very thorough, helpful, and responsive – tons of pros here!
The only con for us – transportation. We had booked well in advance of our trip and the ferry was how we planned to get to the quarter and then catch a Lyft/Uber back. However, when we came out the Ferry was now having some work done – so the times for the Ferry were not always reflected in the mobile app (and there was a shuttle bus now as well adding time to the commute). This caused us to have to spend a bit more on rides than we anticipated in order to make our scheduled events. That’s not anyone’s fault but the RTA (Aaron was genuinely AWESOME about helping us out with getting around/figuring out the changes) but it did impact our stay. When we wanted to book a ride on Halloween to the quarter – we had a 40+ minute wait and many canceled rides before someone would come to get us, squandering some of our limited time in this great city. If you are coming out on a busy weekend and you plan to stay in the quarter for the majority of your trip and/or if you have a tight schedule you may want to find a place on the other side of the river to save time and money.
Otherwise, this place was absolutely wonderful and we recommend staying if it suits your needs!!
