The stay was wonderful for my friends and I. I recommend the Opelousas Point supermarket. It was a one minute walk from the house and they had the best fried catfish, shrimp, and chicken wings. The ferry is about a 10 minute walk and there are a few bars along the way for you to stop for refreshments.
