This space is just as gorgeous as pictured. It was wonderful staying across the river and commuting by ferry. Much quieter and relaxing in Algiers Point but a quick hop away from the action. The ferry staff was so friendly and welcomed us daily. It was $2 each way and a beautiful view as we commuted. The actual ride across is 5mins by ferry or u can catch the bus. The neighborhood itself is charming and was lovely to walk around. Found a wonderful grocery with local produce and there are lovely corner stores, a pub, handcrafted jewelry store, pizza place in the area. New Orleans is too sweet for just one trip so I’ll be checking in here again one day 🙂
