This was my partner and I’s first experience with an AirBNB and we couldn’t be happier. Rick responded extremely quickly when we requested to book his apartment (the one that sleeps 5) and checked in with us prior to our arrival to ensure that the space was prepared for us. When we arrived, Rick patiently gave us a tour of the apartment and even left us a gift basket with wine. The overall stay was wonderful. We were able to make dinner and breakfast easily in the kitchen. The bed was very firm, which was great for us. The only thing about the apartment is that it’s in a slightly older building with other tenants so the floors creak and it was important to keep the apartment as dry as possible when we stayed (there was lots of rain and humidity when we stayed) to prevent any smells. It should absolutely be highlighted that Rick has done an incredible job with the apartment and it is clear that he cares very much about everyone’s experience in it. Throughout the visit, Rick was very accessible, we loved that he was close by in case of anything. The apartment is also in a great location. We were easily able to get to the French Quarter, Bywater, and the Garden District by car without any trouble. Not the mention the free parking (that we never had any trouble finding) in front of the apartment was a huge plus. We absolutely recommend this particular unit for folx looking for a cozy stay.
