We had a great time at Rick’s place. It is modern, clean and very spacious. Rick is a great host! He met us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment, and answered any questions we had about the area and even suggested a few sights. He had a handy map of the local grocery store, restaurants and bar and had a Happy Anniversary sign with a bottle of wine for my wife and I! Also the bed is ridiculously comfy…I need to find out where he got it.
Algiers Point is the perfect setting for a trip to New Orleans. It is a charming, quiet and safe neighborhood that is right across the river from all the action. There is a ferry that will drop you off at the french quarter, or driving over the bridge is less than 10 min.
We would definitely recommend Ricks place and are going to be using it again for our next trip
