The owner, Rick, was a great host, initiating communication before we arrived and responding quickly on the occasions when we did need something. He was eager to help and provide recommendations for things to do in the city, while maintaining a good distance so that we had a sense of privacy.
The neighborhood was quaint and very quiet with a variety of places to eat and shop. It was within spitting distance to the ferry, which deposits you right on Canal Street for the low price of $2 per person.
