We loved the vibe of Aaron’s place. It immediately felt comfortable, vibrant, and interesting. All of the details really made us feel at home, from the cozy linens, to the soft towels, the quirky book selection, and the local jazz station playing when we walked in. The bed was comfortable, even for someone with a bad back. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the spacious bathroom suite, but it does have a number of different steps to navigate if you’re concerned about accessibility.
This was a new part of New Orleans for us and we really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and taking the ferry over to the French Quarter. Don’t sleep on Aaron’s guidebook. We checked out Barracuda’s, Atchafalaya, Lula’s Distillery, and Tout de Suite Cafe and they were all great.
Overall we had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again. Oh, and the place smelled great!
