The house was clean and matched the description in the listing. One thing to be aware of is the layout, you have to walk through one bedroom to access other parts of the house. For example, the two back bedrooms must pass through the front bedroom to exit the home. While the bedroom doors can be locked, we found this setup a bit inconvenient.
We also had an issue with the sliding bathroom door coming off its track, and we had to repeatedly put it back in place during our stay.
The home is in a great location, especially for Mardi Gras activities, and the host thoughtfully provided a list of local recommendations, which we appreciated.
That said, the neighborhood wasn’t somewhere we would personally choose to stay again.
As a group of girls, we felt a bit uneasy at times due to the neighbors, although we did not experience any actual incidents.
Overall, we had a good stay, but because of the layout and the neighborhood, we likely would not book this property again.
