This shotgun duplex was so nice inside–super clean, everything worked perfectly, everything you’d need was there and the decor was very tasteful. We were there for Jazz Fest and were so thankful for the excellent bathrooms to clean up in after very hot afternoons!
The location was good if you have a car or are up for riding the bus (which we were–the public transportation is pretty good, no streetcars near the house but bus stops are). The neighborhood was okay–not somewhere to take a leisurely walk, but we sat on the front stoop in the evenings and some of the neighbors were friendly. Parking right in front of the house was always available and we had no issues.
The other side of the duplex must also be rented and the walls are thin between the two places–one night they were a bit noisy, the other couple nights were fine. The noise in the neighborhood was minimal–quite quiet! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
