Mike’s place was exactly as advertised. The airbnb has everything we needed and honestly didn’t spend much time there. Walkable to all your favorite New Orleans hot spots. The walk to Bourbon Street was about 7-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Note that the airbnb is at the end of the strip and will take you another 15-20 minutes to walk the entire strip or get to the part of Bourbon that is more alive. I enjoy walking and and wore comfortable shoes so it was perfect for me. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the French Market. There’s plenty of things to do in the neighborhood. The only thing that stood out about the place itself was the loud noise that came from the air conditioner but it didn’t last long and would only happen after your turned it off. I’d stay here again whenever I’m in NOLA
