I had a great stay! The place was clean and a great place to relax. A small backyard is excellent for catching the sun and relaxing.
My husband and I stayed with our daughter, who attends school in Louisiana. We had plenty of space to hang out. There is street parking if needed. A quick Uber to the French Quarter costs about $11-$15, depending on the time. When I first arrived, I was skeptical as the area didn’t look great, but as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover. The neighbors were friendly ( one knocked on our door when they saw we hadn’t grabbed our DoorDash delivery ), and one offered to move their car so we could park closer to the house. I don’t know if I would go for a late-night stroll, but to be honest, I would say that for any area I was not familiar with. Communication was timely ( we didn’t need anything ), but we were greeted and given the code, and thanked before checking out. House had plenty of towels and other items you would need. Great weekend getaway!
