Rick was a great and knowledgeable host. He was super accommodating when we arrived hours before our check-in and needed something to do with our bags; he actually had the place ready for us 3 hours early.
On top of that, the place was top notch. It had great art including Satchmo, Sole Pan (I’m a soul man), Electric Socket Man and more! It had everything we needed, was clean, and located in a great spot.
The neighborhood was safe to walk at night. The Ferry to cross the river is only $2 and runs during reasonable hours. If you are out until 4am like we were at times, you can just Uber home. The Ubers home from French Quarters were cheaper than we expected at around $12.
I would definitely stay here again when I return to NOLA, which I definitely will. 10/10
