Neighborhood

Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.
If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!

Came November 2024 for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and this house was perfect for the 6 girls we had. Very spacious, clean & the owners were incredible with the questions I had. Wonderful place to stay in NOLA!

I visit NOLA often for family and this was a very nice place for my recent visit. It accommodated all 7 of us comfortably. It’s walking distance to the Super Dome which is nice if you’re looking for a place to stay for an event. I also had an extra feeling of security with the locked gate! While most people visit for being out in the city most of the time- it would be nice to have a tv in all the bedrooms for those less enthusiastic about going out. While off street parking is available- know the driveway is pretty narrow…I wouldn’t recommend an SUV using it. Overall it was a good place to spend some quality time with family.

I stayed with a group total of 10. First, the neighborhood is super quiet which we LOVED. Easy to find & easy check in. Upon arrival, had a little mishap with getting in the gate. They were quick to respond and so apologetic that i didn’t care if it opened or not! Fine, my guest and I parked on the street lol. Zero issues. Plenty of space. Oh, our favorite part was the backyard. I visit NOLA often & I will be back 🫶🏻
