Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit (entire upper unit of a two-story duplex) including living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry, and private balcony area. Note this home is a duplex and the downstairs is occupied by a small laundromat (no walk-in business) while the entire upper floor is the space being offered. Due to it being a small laundromat you may feel or hear the machines running during the day.
