Mikes place was great, located in a cute historic part of LA. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Near a 5 min ferry ride to get to New Orleans, very convenient if you don’t want to take your vehicle and have to pay for parking. As far as the place itself, it was clean and well stocked & the host Emmanuel was very responsive. Only thing that can be an issue for some is the stairs to get into the property. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful sleep while still being able to conveniently get to the city
