Mike & his Lovely Wife have a cozy home very close to the city. We stayed in the upstairs apartment that had two bedrooms & a shared bathroom. There is a nice porch to enjoy with your morning coffee. Bike trails are not far away & we enjoyed our e-bike riding to Lake Pontchartrain & had a fabulous lunch at Landry’s Seafood House right on the Lake. The Blue Crab Restaurant & Oyster Bar is great for live music. Airboat adventures in Lafitte is a must & I saw my first albino alligator. Wonderful Cuban sandwiches just a couple blocks down the street on the left. Have Fun & lots to do other than Bourbon Street in Louisiana. You will find the best live jazz walking up and down the street in the French Quarter. Our Cavapoo had plenty of room in the apartment however you have to keep your pet on a leash because the small fenced in area in the back is shared with the 1st floor apartment and it’s also the driveway where they park their vehicles. 2nd floor apartment parking is on the street.
