We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The location felt safe with parking inside a gated parking lot. The neighborhood was wonderful with restaurants and shopping close by. There was even an ice cream shop across from the small park in front of the Airbnb. The area was quite and easy to navigate. Easy access to the highway allowed for quick commutes to other areas in New Orleans. I would recommend this Airbnb to friends and family. I hope to be able to stay here on my next visit to New Orleans.

Place is in a fairly nice area with lots of shopping and places to eat nearby. Only issue I had was a key fob for the entrance gate would not work. After trying several times I noticed the exit gate was working. It’s a one directional parking area. I wound up driving around a couple of blocks to get to the exit side and backing into the parking area. Had to do this during my entire stay even though I was told a new fob would be delivered. It never was. Place was very clean and well kept. Other than the key fob my stay was good. One thing I’d point out to anyone wanting to stay, apparently the taxes and fees are pretty expensive. They nearly doubled the cost to stay.

When we booked, we had no idea it was Mardi gras. We were there for a few days before a cruise. It turned out to be a bonus because we could simply walk up St. Mary’s, a few blocks, to St. Charles, and see every uptown parade.
The home was clean, the bed and couch comfortable, and within walking distance to some pubs and restaurants.
Day one, after we arrived, we noticed there was no remote for the bedroom TV. Not knowing what happened to it, the hosts were quick to send someone over with a replacement. Very impressed with the service.
We would definitely stay again if they’ll have us.
