Bourbon House

Bourbon House is our favorite restaurant when visiting New Orleans. The staff are amazing, from the hostesses, to the servers, back kitchen staff, bar tenders and managers. It’s the true spirit of New Orleans Hospitality scene. These folks will treat you better than family. The food…. I’m from Baton Rouge but live in Atlanta now. This is the authentic Louisiana cuisine. The roux in the gumbo is just right. It’s loaded with meat and shrimp. The raw oysters are light, and large! The crab claws are buttery and garlicy. The drinks are crafted, not rushed. Everything on the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. We had dinner there every night for three nights. Make reservations through Open Table and you will be treated like Royalty!!! Thank you guys, can’t wait to come back to visit.

Juan’s Flying Burrito – LGD

Enjoyed the early dinner we had here. The Mexican-style was blended with the particular style and flavors of New Orleans. The prices were commensurate with post-covid inflation. Service was good, friendly host and servers.

Funky 544

Awesome music and good service. Had good time. No pushy bar tenders or arrogant bouncers. The crowd was also good. Restrooms were also clean. **they charge convenience fee on the credit card usage. **most drinks are priced around $14

Superior Seafood & Oyster Bar

Our first time visiting Superior Seafood and Oyster Bar and it was amazing! I recommend making a reservation. However, we arrived 30 minutes early for ours and they were kind enough to seat us early. We were sat in the covered patio area next to the trio that would be playing for brunch and you would think it would bother you. But no, it was perfect. The music was beautiful and at the perfect octave of sound to where it was enjoyable but not disruptive. Our food and drinks were delicious!! Our server, Madison was wonderful and extremely helpful with recommendations. We will definitely be going back!

Rib Room

We began our culinary journey with the Fritos Mistos board, which was expertly cooked, though I felt it could’ve used a touch more salt and seasoning. I delved into the New Orleans Seafood Gumbo, a rich and authentic delight, while my wife opted for the Classic Rib Room Salad, elevated by a delicious house-made blue cheese dressing. The Slow Roasted Prime Rib was the star of the evening – tender, flavorful, and perfectly executed. To our pleasant surprise, our server presented us with a complimentary cake to celebrate our anniversary – a testament to their attention to detail, having noted it from my reservation. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommended for those seeking a special dining experience.

Criollo Restaurant

A beautiful restaurant that we had both brunch and lunch at over the week. The food was good, and the drinks were fantastic but the real excellence of this place is the service. The staff here truly love New Orleans and their kindness and passion for life comes through in their work. They take time to chat with the customers and take a real interest in your enjoyment of the city, going over and above to ensure your meal and experience is great, but that you get to see and love New Orleans as much as they do. We will definitely be back to New Orleans, and the Hotel Monteleone and Criollo will both be on our list of places to return many times. 😎🤙
