I really liked the locations of this apartment. It was far enough from the French Quarter to not be too loud and only a couple blocks to Frenchman street, which is more where I like to be. It is walking distance to most places and the apartment was very nice.
I come to New Orleans every year around this time and I found the location to be ideal. You are literally a bloc or two away from some of the early parade routes. The building itself is well maintained, with a very nice private courtyard out from that you share with a few other guests. I had a problem the first day with the internet, Blair was there in 5 minutes. I figured out it was my phone and not their router but I appreciated that they checked up the next day.
The kitchen is well equipped but does not have a stove or an oven, but a very nice, new hotplate that works just fine. I had no hot water problems, as mentioned in another review, but you do have to let the hot water run for a while (old bldg.).
