I was very happy with this home away from home. It’ a lovely older shotgun house that’s been spruced up wonderfully. It’s as clean as a whistle, and well-appointed with thoughtful, tasteful touches throughout. I had no previous experience with the shotgun style, so that was an added treat for me. Although I didn’t have the means of receiving the door code while en route to New Orleans, Host John was standing on the porch when I got there, and gave me the door code I needed. The house is in an older, but quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants. Location, location, location — my longest journey from the house while visiting New Orleans was less than 15 minutes away. And the wi-fi was great. And I had my own paved spot to park. John and Patricia were wonderful hosts. I’d love to come back with my wife.
