Isaiah’s Airbnb was pretty much exactly as described.
The surrounding neighborhood was for the most part just fine, there’s a bar in the opposing corner that got a bit loud for a while there one night, but that’s not in anyone’s control, it simmered down after an hour or so.
The tall ceilings really made the place feel expansive. I think there might be a ghost in the house as we had a moment where we heard a knock on our bedroom door, clear as day, and thinking it was a family member we invited them to come in, and a few seconds later thinking that they didn’t hear me I opened the door… to no one. No footsteps walking away, and turns out everyone was sleeping at that time. Only happened once. So, could be a cool experience for a NoLa stay.
It was centrally located to where we wanted to visit:
10 Mins to the French Quarter
10-15 Mins to the New Orleans of Art
20 Mins to the airport.
Overall, we loved our stay.
