Stayed here with my girlfriends for my 40th birthday. It was also French Quarter Fest weekend. Besides the drunken homeless guy yelling at passersby a couple of times, it was a nice area. It is walking distance to the Caesar’s Casino, nice restaurants, and Bourbon St. There was a little convenient store on the corner, a nail salon and barber. There is street parking available, but also Premium Parking lots/garages close by.
The apt was clean and beautiful. I loved the brick walls and ceiling high cabinets. You can hear everything if you’re in the livingroom cuz of the wall of windows, but it didn’t bother us. It’s New Orleans. There was another group upstairs that we could hear walking and/or moving furniture, but they were also celebrating a birthday.
The hosts, Mike and Garrett, are quick to respond and very nice.
If you’re in town for vacay, business or a staycation, this would be a great place to stay.
