Stunning renovated historical home just above the Quarter in the Treme. Quiet, elegant, spacious. Great common space and kitchen. Huge comfy beds. Lovely back yard with private pool. Amazing communication and responsiveness of hosting team. For me location simply perfect – French Quarter and Frenchmen St/Marigny are all right there but the street is quiet and out of the noise and foot traffic. Bathrooms/showers exquisite.
I love the Treme but it’s on the real and funky side so if that freaks you out don’t walk deeper in especially late at night but I found it safe and loved being able to walk to my fave local spots. Amazing breakfast at Fatma’s just a few blocks in. If you are looking for Garden District posh this is not that neighborhood although the house itself is.
Pool is not heated so it’s a warm weather thing only. Heat works very well. The ac worked okay for us but I’d ask how well it works for hot weather especially upstairs. Loved the modern floor or desk fans in every room.
