This was a dynamic location. I had 8 local attractions planned and added one additional. All but one, the swamp tour, was within 8-15 minutes. The place was really adorable and quaint. The decor was nice and simple with a monochromatic paint palate sprinkled with NOLA. There is a driveway yet for the most part, street parking is right outside the house. There were a few touches I had to reach out for and the response time was much longer than the stated 1 hour more like up to 18-24 hours response time.
I will say that there is this cat that hangs around as if he’s the landlord, trying to get in at any opportune moment. So if you like cats, it’s a good thing bonus. I’m not a cat person per se and I did want to share this for someone who may have allergic reactions to cats.
There are some spices with dups in the cabinets and there are 4, four, wine bottle openers, and no can opener during our stay. Prayerfully, the next person will have that available for their use.
