We stayed at Chateau Bourbon, and it was PERFECT! It was during the sweltering August month, but the AC had us in heaven. The living space was generous enough to gather with friends before we strolled over two blocks to Frenchmen Street. The Quarter was a convenient block away, with small markets to grab refreshments and snacks. Being able to do a bit of laundry was such an unexpected plus. We rented a car and were able to park in front of the property, but we made sure we were gone during the day-time metered hours–we made good use of a rental, and it was nice to not have to pay for overnight parking. The location is in the ideal sweet spot–within good walking distance of the quarter and the main attractions, but tucked away enough, away from the traffic. I would definitely want to return to this Chateau, and already recommending it to friends!
