Lafayette Square

The square has mostly open space with tons grass area for picnic and other fun activities. But I like the most about the park is the trees here. They provide nice showdow for a hot day and plenty of benches to sit and rest. The trees are also much bigger and olders than those of the same spieces you saw on the side of the road. Some of them are so big that their branches dropped to the sideway which looks pretty cool. Unfortuantely you can see the signs of trimming; too bad. The branches spreat out like abstract art; cannot help but taking too many photos of them.

It was our first time there, and we definitely enjoyed our time. The place looked well kept and very colorful (neon colors), which my kids loved. It has something for everyone. My kids loved the zip lining over the trampoline park and the climbing wall. They also have an area for birthday parties or big groups and a café. I definitely recommend this place!

What an awesome little gallery, with unique, amazing art and attentive service if you want to learn more about any of their artists. We purchased art by a french artist named Lebecq that is nothing short of spectacular. Special thanks to Bilal the gallery director for helping us connect to the right pieces.

Awesome park. Loved being by the water with shade and a light breeze. Tons of families out having fun, the energy was great and it felt both safe and stunning in it’s collection of trees and sunshine.
